Colorado public school COVID-19 vaccination rates

Colorado’s School COVID-19 vaccination data dashboard is a resource for families, schools, local public health agencies, health care providers, and other partners. COVID-19 vaccination rates at the district, school, and grade levels can help parents/guardians/caregivers, educators, and school staff make informed decisions about mitigation practices they may want to consider for their children and/or themselves. This is especially important for parents of children with weakened immune systems and educators/school staff with immunocompromising conditions.

COVID-19 vaccination is one of many protective measures available to schools to reduce transmission of COVID and other infectious diseases. Schools may also employ other measures such as improved ventilation, social distancing, masking, cohorting, symptom screening, etc. that can also reduce the transmission of disease.

Student roster data was sourced from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) through an interagency data sharing agreement between CDPHE and CDE. Student assignments in the data below are from the 2021-2022 school year. The current data sharing agreement does not include student roster data beyond the 2021-22 school year, and CDPHE is unable to update the dashboard with the current school year’s student roster data. COVID-19 vaccination data is updated weekly as new doses are reported to the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS).
