(DENVER) April 29, 2020: The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is releasing data from about 1,000 Coloradans who took a short survey designed to track symptoms of COVID-19. Additionally, when people identify that they have symptoms of COVID-19, such as shortness of breath, cough or fever, the symptom tracker will now offer users text messages that help them manage their symptoms. Texts are only sent to users who consent to receive text messages. 

DENVER, April 29, 2020: The Colorado Unified Command Center (UCC) is building public-private partnerships to increase testing capacity across Colorado. 

The state lab has sent testing supplies to support 42 community testing sites that will be operated by Local Public Health Agencies (LPHAs) or community health providers. 

(DENVER – April 27, 2020) – Kaiser Permanente is increasing COVID-19 testing for symptomatic member and non-member health care workers and first responders (emergency medical technicians, law enforcement, firefighters, corrections officers) referred by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE). Kaiser Permanente is also testing non-members referred by CDPHE who have been deemed essential to public welfare.

DENVER, April 27, 2020: In accordance with Governor Jared Polis’ executive order, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) enacted a public health order, implementing Safer-at-Home.

(DENVER – April 26, 2020) – Today, King Soopers announced a partnership with the Colorado State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) for free COVID-19 drive-thru testing. The first testing will be at the Auraria Campus in Denver, April 28-29.

Testing Site Information:

• Dates: Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 29

• Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

DENVER - April 25, 2020: The state of Colorado is conducting targeted testing in Weld County through Tuesday. The testing, coordinated by the State Emergency Operations Center and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, is being staffed by members of the Colorado National Guard and the Colorado State Patrol.

DENVER (April 25, 2020): Today the state released the results from the testing initiated by the Unified Command Center (UCC) at three long-term care facilities on April 19. The COVID-19 testing is supported by members of the Colorado National Guard, Colorado State Patrol, and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. 

DENVER (April 23, 2020): The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) released a new public health order ordering workers in critical businesses and critical government functions to wear non-medical masks and gloves while at work to protect the health and welfare of the public.

(DENVER) April 23, 2020:  The Colorado Unified Coordination Center received a Battelle Critical Care Decontamination System that cleans and disinfects used N95 respirators for reuse. The system will be installed at the Adams County Fairgrounds in the Exhibit Hall today. The system will be returned to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) when no longer needed.
