North Central Region Healthcare Coalition and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment launch COVID-19 Impact and Recovery Survey

The North Central Region Healthcare Coalition (NCRHC) and the Healthcare Worker Resilience and Retention Initiative at CDPHE have launched a statewide COVID-19 Impact and Recovery Survey. The survey aims to identify gaps in resources or services for anyone who is supporting or has supported the COVID-19 response in Colorado.

Colorado resumes use of Johnson & Johnson vaccine to help end the pandemic

REMOTE, (April 23, 2021): In response to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announcement that providers should resume using the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and the Colorado Joint Vaccine Task Force are alerting providers they can proceed with using the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine immediately.

Colorado pauses use of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine after joint FDA and CDC announcement

In response to the joint CDC and FDA announcement and out of an abundance of caution, today the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and the Colorado Joint Vaccine Task Force are alerting providers to temporarily pause use of the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) COVID-19 vaccine.

CDPHE pauses COVID-19 vaccination at site in El Paso County while investigating concerns about vaccine storage 

REMOTE, (April 9, 2021): Today, Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE) paused administration of COVID-19 vaccines at Dr. Moma Health and Wellness Clinic in El Paso County as a result of irregularities in vaccine storage and handling. CDPHE will issue a suspension to the provider for their participation in the COVID vaccination program, and they will no longer receive doses while this investigation continues.

State adds percentage of residents vaccinated by county to vaccine data dashboard

REMOTE, (April 8, 2021): Today, the state updated its COVID-19 vaccine data dashboard to reflect the percentage of residents at least partially vaccinated or fully vaccinated by county. This new data supplements current county level data regarding doses distributed and doses administered to provide a more comprehensive snapshot of vaccination progress by county.
